LAW ENFORCEMENT RETIREMENT

With 20 years of service, you are eligible to retire at age 50

With 25 years of service, you may retire at any age under the Federal Employees Retirement System

PAID TIME OFF, FEDERAL HOLIDAYS, AND SICK LEAVE

Within your first year all full-time employees:

Earn 13 sick days per year

13 days of Paid Leave

11 Paid Federal Goernment holidays during th ecalendar year

A BOP employee on average pays 28- 48% of insurance costs while the Federal Governmnet covers the rest.
