Job Summary:
Bureaucom is seeking an organized and proactive Office Manager to coordinate translation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves liaising with clients and linguists, providing support to both internal and external teams, and managing various project-related tasks.
Essential Job Duties:
Research and expand an existing database of freelance contractors, negotiating specific agreements.
Assist with preparing quotes and proposals for clients.
Coordinate internal and external project teams.
Solve production-related issues.
Edit and review project formatting issues after editing a translation.
Manage office tasks using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and linguists, ensuring translation projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and meet quality standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Produce quotes for new and existing clients, assisting them in planning their translation projects.
Additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Typing Certificate with 35-40 WPM with an 80% accuracy.
Bilingual in Spanish or other languages required.
Basic Microsoft Windows proficiency (school-based experience acceptable)
University degree preferred (not required), especially in languages
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong computer literacy (MS Office, Internet, Email)
Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated
Team player with a professional and friendly attitude
Prior customer service experience preferred
Passion for languages and interest in the translation industry is a plus

Quote and proposal development.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
100% In-person
25-30 Hours a week commitment
