Join Our Team as a Principal Human Resources Analyst or Senior Management Analyst!

The City of Laguna Beach is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Principal Human Resources Analyst or Senior Management Analyst (DOQ) to join our innovative Human Resources team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with employee relations matters, including employee complaints and grievances; conduct or coordinate investigations and implement performance management and discipline procedures 

  • Support labor relations matters, including union inquiries, meet and confer activities, policy and MOU interpretation, review, align and create policies 

  • Manage classification and compensation activities

  • Oversee benefits and workers' compensation administration

  • Participate in and manage promotional processes for public safety roles.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop HR analysts to achieve their professional best

  • Design and execute strategies to enrich the employee experience for current and future City employees
