  • Salary: $25.51 - $31.01 Hourly

  • Location: Laguna Beach, CA 92651

  • Job Type: Part-Time

  • Department: Public Works – Wastewater Division

  • Application Deadline: Continuous


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine construction, maintenance, and repair of wastewater collection systems

  • Clean sewer lines and lift stations

  • Install, modify, and repair sewer facilities and equipment

  • Follow and implement safe work practices

  • Learn and develop skills for more complex assignments


Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Experience: General maintenance or repair work (sewer system experience preferred)

  • License:

    • Valid California Class C Driver’s License

    • Acceptable driving record at the time of hire


Schedule & Special Requirements

  • Must be available for emergency service calls, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Fingerprint check with the State Department of Justice

  • Pre-placement physical exam, including a drug test
