Job Summary:

The County of Orange is a collection of dedicated, public-spirited individuals, who together comprise a regional service provider and planning agency committed to maximizing resources and improving the quality of life in Orange County. Our core businesses are public safety, public health, environmental protection, regional planning, public assistance, social services and aviation.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist with updating the Contracts Monitoring & Program Compliance (CM&PC) Contract Catalog and imaging state audit documents.

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to log in contract documents (contracts, amendments, monitoring reports, letters, notices, etc.).

  • Rename documents using the naming convention provided for the task and save documents in the appropriate file folders on the server.

  • Image documents by scanning from the copy machine and emailing it to the CM&PC mailbox.

  • Review imaged products and, if clean and legible, proceed to renaming the document following the naming convention provided, file in the appropriate file folders, and log in documents.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Background check required

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred

  • Some office experience preferred

  • Candidate with good communication, interpersonal skills, and willingness to ask questions ideal


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Conduct data management by utilizing Microsoft Excel to log in contract documents

  • File management by renaming documents using the naming convention and save documents in the appropriate file folders on the server

  • File management by scanning documents from the copy machine and emailing it to the CM&PC mailbox

  • Quality control by reviewing imaged products and proceeding to the renaming, filing, and logging of documents


Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday: 8 am-5pm
