Job Summary:

We want our Ambassadors to be the coolest gelato scoopers in town! An expert in everything related to gelato. With huge smiles greeting our guests as they enter the world of Gelatissimo! We want your presentation and service to be as equally as impressive as our gelato displays!


Essential Job Duties:

  • Arrives for their shift in full uniform ready to begin

  • Before starting any shift, makes sure to learn about today's special flavors. (Any allergies)

  • Warmly greets guests with a smile and makes eye contact immediately.

  • Completely understand the menu and all offerings including "special items."

  • Offers tastings and educates guests on our menu/offerings

  • Operates the POS cash register correctly. Accurately accounts for every order.

  • Properly executes the Gelatissimo script to each and every guest.

  • Monitors guest for satisfaction.

  • Picks up debris and cleans any spills or grease on the floor.

  • Communicates low inventory items to team and management.

  • Performs side-work prior to and after busy times. Double checks and signs off with management prior to departure.

  • Oversees dining area table maintenance and works with team members in clearing tables.

  • Updates specials board with current items.

  • Can execute all daily opening/closing/cleaning checklists.

  • Completes guest transactions: suggest additional items to guests, as appropriate; asks about other items needed/of interest.

  • Can confirm and input orders from all online ordering partners.

  • Can answer the phone and take call-in orders.

  • Makes Gelatissimo espresso/coffee drinks.

  • Assists with prep and dishwashing as needed.

  • Implements industry food safety and sanitation standards according to procedures.

  • Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Weekend availability.

  • Ability to work legally in the United States.


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Operates the POS cash register correctly. Accurately accounts for every order.

  • Properly executes the Gelatissimo script to each and every guest.

  • Oversees dining area table maintenance and works with team members in clearing tables.

  • Completes guest transactions: suggest additional items to guests, as appropriate; asks about other items needed/of interest.

Hours of Operation:

Daily from 11am - 9pm
