Responsibilities
Prepare Tax Returns: Accurately prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
Client Consultations: Conduct thorough client consultations to gather necessary information and documents, understand their financial situation, and provide tailored tax advice.
Tax Planning and Advice: Offer proactive tax planning advice to help clients optimize their financial decisions throughout the year.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering long-term relationships with clients who view you as their trusted tax expert.
Compliance and Continuing Education: Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and participate in continuing education programs to ensure the highest level of professional expertise.
Qualifications
Certification: IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) eligibility is required.
Experience: Previous experience in tax preparation is preferred, but not mandatory.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; previous completion of a tax school or similar certification in tax preparation is a plus.
Personal Traits: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and a genuine desire to help others.
