Join the One Irvine Workforce Apprenticeship Program
Program Overview: The One Irvine Workforce Apprenticeship Program is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about community service and professional growth. This program is part of the Californians for All grant and is focused on providing employment opportunities to those who may not have access to traditional career-building resources.
Location: Irvine, CA
Compensation:
Program Assistants: $26.86 per hour, plus benefits
Accounting Technician: $24.64 per hour, plus benefits
Community Development Field Services Assistant: $24.64 per hour, plus benefits
Positions Available:
Program Assistants: Support important community initiatives while receiving professional training and mentorship.
Accounting Technician: Gain valuable experience in accounting within a public service environment.
Community Development Field Services Assistant: Work directly in the field to support community development projects.
Program Duration: These full-time positions are budgeted for 13 months, from November 2024 to December 2025. While post-apprenticeship employment opportunities may be available, they are not guaranteed.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be between 18 and 30 years old on the first day of service.
Strong customer service skills are essential for Program Assistants.
Basic accounting knowledge and organizational skills are needed for the Accounting Technician role.
Interest in community development and fieldwork is necessary for the Community Development Field Services Assistant role.
Priority Consideration: Priority is given to applicants who:
Are Irvine residents.
Are unemployed and/or out of school.
Are low-income.
May have difficulty finding employment.
Are in or transitioning from foster care.
Are engaged with a substance-abuse or mental health program.
Are or were justice-involved.
Have not participated in an AmeriCorps program.
