JOB SUMMARY:
Takes accurate orders from guests, enters orders in POS system, and clear/clean tables once the meal has been completed, while providing excellent guest service according to Company guidelines. Upsell food and beverage items to maximize profitability.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their seats
Provide attentive and friendly service throughout the dinner show, anticipating guests’ needs
Serving 4-5 tables, as determined by management, approx. 28-30 guest
Take accurate food and beverage orders, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences
Serve melas promptly and efficiently, coordinating with the timing of the performance
Engage with guests during the show, answering questions and providing assistance as needed
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables between shows.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals
Uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
Maintaining complete knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage preparation
Upsell food and drinks items
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those specific to the dinner show environment
Teamwork and collaboration with co-workers to ensure a seamless guest experience
Completes side work before, during, and after shifts
Strong attention to detail. Must be able to remain organized handle multiple tasks and work under the pressure of serving multiple guests at once
Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
Follow all policies and rules in the “Company’s Server Manual”
Performing other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a current Food Handler Card
Must have RBS (California Responsible Beverage Service) training certificate
Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change
Basic reading and writing skills
Basic computer skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Attention to detail and a focus on providing exceptional customer service
Adaptability to the unique demands of coordinating service with live entertainment
Time management skills to prioritize tasks and maintain the flow of service throughout the performance
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a high-energy environment
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by the dinner show schedule
