Are you ready to step into a winter wonderland and spread holiday cheer? PSQ Productions is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Event Staff at Winter Fest OC! As part of our Event Staff team, you'll be the face of Winter Fest OC, greeting guests with a warm smile and helping them experience the most magical winter event in town. You'll be a pro at providing directional guidance, ticketing information, entertainment schedules and spreading excitement about all the frosty fun inside.
What We're Looking For:
At PSQ Productions, we’re excited to invite friendly and reliable individuals to become a part of our dynamic team as Event Staff! In this vital position, you’ll play a crucial role in crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests, ensuring that every event unfolds seamlessly and brings joy to all attendees. Your primary responsibilities will include swiftly scanning tickets for prompt entry, while actively fostering a safe, enjoyable, and inviting atmosphere for everyone. Your passion and dedication will help create lasting memories that our guests will treasure long after the festivities have ended.
Job Duties:
Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrival
Effectively communicating information regarding ticket prices, carnival rides, cabana rentals, etc.
Maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall appearance of his/her assigned area
Offer assistance to guests throughout the event
Answering questions about Winter Fest OC and assisting guests with directions, ticket prices, etc.
Interacting with other employees in a friendly and professional manner
Assisting event crew with setting up/maintaining event props
Responding to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and with courtesy
Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the event
Listening, responding to, and resolving guest inquiries, complaints, and compliments in a friendly and professional manner
Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)
Primarily outdoor event, exposed to heat, cold, humidity, and rain
Requirements
Passionate about bringing joy to people's lives and creating positive memories for those attending Winter Fest OC
One year of customer service experience preferred, past cash handling experience a plus
Excellent communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive speaking voice
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
Previous ticket system experience a plus
Ability to stand for 8+ hours
Must have the ability to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work the majority of the days of the event and arrive on time.
Winter Fest OC is an outdoor event, and subject to local winter weather. Must dress accordingly and be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
