Looking for a fun winter-time job? Do you love to ice skate? Are you positive, upbeat, hard-working and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Join the Winter Fest OC team today!! 

PSQ Productions is currently looking for seasonal part-time rink attendant team members. The ice rink positions must provide a high level of customer service in a friendly and professional manner to all guests and participants for the duration of Winter Fest OC from November 22, 2024 - January 5, 2025.

An overall fantastic experience that provides positive memories for all our guests is a very important value to Winter Fest OC!


Job Duties

  • Experience on an ice rink through working on an ice rink as a marshal or competitive sports such as ice hockey 

  • Maintaining the ice rink throughout the day including sweeping and shoveling ice 

  • Monitor the ice rink during sessions to ensure ice rink rules are being followed and immediately addressing guests in a courteous and professional manner 

  • Responding to ice rink accidents and injuries by assessing the situation, calling the on-site EMS and supervisor 

  • Listening, responding to, and resolving guest inquiries, complaints and compliments in a friendly and professional manner 

  • Responding to guests in person, over the phone and through digital communications such as emails and social media 

  • Maintaining a high level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions) 

  • Maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall appearance of his/her assigned area 

  • Answering questions about Winter Fest OC and assisting guests with questions, directions, etc. 

  • Interacting with other employees and participants in a friendly and professional manner 

  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of Winter Fest OC regarding promotional days and show times 

  • Providing daily feedback and recommendations on guest concerns so they can be resolved immediately 


Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience on an ice rink through working an ice rink or competitive sports such as ice hockey 

  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred 

  • Experience driving a Zamboni a plus, but not required

  • Excellent communicative skills; the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive speaking voice 

  • High school degree or equivalent 

  • Must maintain a professional and inviting appearance 

  • Ability to skate and interact with customers on ice for an 8 to 10 hour shift 

  • Must have the ability to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, including Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day 

  • First Aid training and certification is a plus, but not required 

  • Bilingual a plus 

  • PSQ Productions will conduct a background check as part of the selection process
