Job Summary:

Orange County United Way is currently seeking a skill-based candidate. The skill-based candidates will be responsible for assisting with managing and maintaining the records in the 211OC resource databases, while ensuring accuracy, up to date and consistent information is maintained. The ideal availability is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage and develop expertise of the 211OC resource databases and all front-end, back

  • end and administrative features

  • Maintain and ensure integrity of records in the resource databases

  • Initiate organization information updates in the 211OC resource databases and follow up on requests with agency directors and managers

  • Work with the Resource Department team on various projects


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Background check required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional telephone etiquette

  • Multitasking

  • Customer service experience helpful

  • Professional demeanor

  • Active listening


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Manage and develop expertise of the 211OC resource databases and all front-end, back-end and administrative features

  • Maintain and ensure integrity of records in the resource databases

  • Initiate organization information updates in the 211OC resource databases and follow up on requests with agency directors and managers.

  • Enhanced written and verbal communication skills through interactions with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Professional telephone etiquette enhanced through handling inquiries and requests effectively

  • Development of customer service skills, including addressing inquiries and concerns professionally

  • Active listening skills sharpened through attentive communication with team members and stakeholders


Hours of Operation:

Position works Monday – Friday 9 am – 4 pm.

Candidate’s schedule will be determined based on availability during those days/hours.
