Job Summary:

The Distribution Center Associate helps with receiving, organizing, and moving food products to support food distribution efforts. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, hard-working, and team players.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist with pulling, staging, and loading products for delivery.

  • Conduct inventory counts and organize materials for packing and distribution.

  • Operate pallet jacks and other tools safely (training provided).

  • Ensure product quality and confirm loaded products match delivery manifests.

  • Support volunteer projects in the Distribution Center.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Follow food safety and warehouse safety guidelines.

  • Perform other duties as needed.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Steel toe shoes and insulated gloves.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and friendly relationship with staff and volunteers

  • Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce

  • Fundamental written and verbal communication skills (possessing excellent communication skill is a plus)


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Communication, interpersonal and customer service.

  • Warehouse operations and logistics.

  • Inventory management and order fulfillment.

  • Teamwork and attention to detail.


Hours of Operation:

Mon- Fri: 6am-5pm

Sat- Sun: 8am-5pm

Must be available to work: 25-30 hours a week
