Job Summary:
The Distribution Center Associate helps with receiving, organizing, and moving food products to support food distribution efforts. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, hard-working, and team players.
Essential Job Duties:
Assist with pulling, staging, and loading products for delivery.
Conduct inventory counts and organize materials for packing and distribution.
Operate pallet jacks and other tools safely (training provided).
Ensure product quality and confirm loaded products match delivery manifests.
Support volunteer projects in the Distribution Center.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow food safety and warehouse safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Steel toe shoes and insulated gloves.
Maintain a positive attitude and friendly relationship with staff and volunteers
Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce
Fundamental written and verbal communication skills (possessing excellent communication skill is a plus)
Work Experience Skills Developed:
Communication, interpersonal and customer service.
Warehouse operations and logistics.
Inventory management and order fulfillment.
Teamwork and attention to detail.
Hours of Operation:
Mon- Fri: 6am-5pm
Sat- Sun: 8am-5pm
Must be available to work: 25-30 hours a week
