WORK EXPERIENCE (WEX)
Work Experience programs provide a no-cost resource for businesses to attract new talent and expand existing employee skill sets.
Participating businesses provide 15 to 30 hours of hands-on training per week, for up to 12 weeks, in their work environment. Trainees’ wages are subsidized throughout the training program. Trainees build the specific skills employers need and emerge from the training ready to be hired.
